Summary:
Basically, the Alienware M11x R1 is a good gaming laptop when only the specifications are considered. However, it does have durability issues. Quite a few users experienced the hinges breaking and the speakers cracking just after a few months of use. It also does not have a disk tray so purchasing an external optical drive is a must if you plan to install games via a CD. If you can look past all its physical flaws, then this is a great gaming laptop nonetheless. Its specifications compensate for its cheap plastic like shell.
