Samsung Moment M900
The Samsung Moment introduced some hardware innovations into the Android arena; It was the first QWERTY Android phone to use an AMOLED display and the first to sport the powerful 800MHz ARM11 processor. The only “problem” with the Moment, is that it *currently* runs Android 1.5 (Sprint will release an upgrade for it in mid 2010 to Android 2.1).
The M900 features a vibrant and colorful 3.2″ display with a 480 x 320 resolution that supports 16 million colors.
The 3.2 megapixels camera didn’t surprise us, but it does seem to be better than the one found on the DROID. The poor camera controls found in Android 1.5 seem to be the bottleneck for the M900′s camera; we are quite sure that the upgrade will improve the camera’s quality a release the phone’s full potential.

The Full QWERTY keyboard is rather big, and quite spacious, but some of its keys are awkwardly placed; like the space bar and the Fn key, not a big con, but it may bother some people.

When it comes to the software, the Moment uses a plain version of Android 1.5 OS bundled with some standard apps from Sprint. If compared to the DROID, we find the M900 to be somewhat slower, even when it has a faster processor. Again, we believe that the upcoming software update will change things around quite a bit.

Summary
The Samsung Moment has a great potential that should be realized when the 2.1 OS update becomes available. If you like Sprint and you don’t mind waiting for the update; this phone won’t disappoint you.
