Honeywell 18155 SilentComfort
The Honeywell 18155 is a mid-range air purifier that features a “True HEPA” filtration system; this means that the filter has been tested to capture at least 99.97% of particles as little as 0.3 microns in size. As with many other air purifiers, the 18155 also has a carbon pre-filter, that keeps other larger particles away from the HEPA filter. This not-so-small air purifier is advertised to perform up to 6 air changes per hour in rooms up to 187 sq. ft.
This air purifier features three fan speed settings; low, medium and high. While in Low speed, this air purifier performs very quiet, but most users have reported that medium and high speed settings are rather loud.
The Honeywell 18155 has two filter cleaning indicator lights and it comes with a 5-year limited warranty — The warranty does not cover the filters, only workmanship defects.

Pros
- Its circular design allows it to clean air from almost any direction
- Powerful and relatively quiet
- It performs rather well at removing allergens
Cons
- Not as quiet as advertised
- Is somewhat large
- Not a con really, but we found that the HEPA filter needs to be cleaned more than the advertised “twice-a-year”
